1913 Toledo University Bulletin – Arts & Industrial Science

Original March 1913 Toledo University Bulletin, Vol. V, Nos. 1 and 2, containing the 1913–1914 announcements for the Colleges of Arts and Sciences and Industrial Science.

This survival-era municipal-university record documents city-appointed governance, tax-supported financing, electrical and metallurgical engineering, cooperative study, teacher and evening courses, and class schedules while Toledo University was developing into a degree-granting institution.

The front wrapper bears a purple Secretary’s Office receiving stamp dated May 19, 1913 and a handwritten office notation most plausibly reading “filed.” The notation is not represented as a personal signature or presentation inscription.

Condition: Good, photographically assessed. Age toning and surface soil; edge and corner wear; upper-right cover creasing/chipping; spine-edge losses or tears near the binding points; institutional stamp and notation. Interior pages shown are legible and generally clean with light toning. Physical completeness through numbered page 60 has not been independently verified; sold exactly as pictured.

No exact March 1913 copy was located in current active-market searches. It is described as scarce in current trade, not unique.
